Rayner 2017

Rayner is a senior hiking competition that D/K has participated in for the last four years for one main reason: Lack of seniors.

Needless to say, D/K has not lost its edge and we came 6th overall and with a new troop scouter, group scouter and whole generation of junior coming up we should continue competing in Rayner.

In terms of the competition things ran smoothly. However,due to a misinformed judge we were misguided resulting in 95% of the teams competing hiking an extra 10 kilometers resulting in them hiking a total of 35.86 kilometers by the end of the competition and being delayed by roughly an hour.
